PREMIERE: Promise Land – Whoomp [Flamingo Recordings]

We are proud to link up with Flamingo Recordings to premiere “Whoomp” from Italian duo, Promise Land.

This record marks their return to the label for the first time since they released a track titled “Alright” in 2015. Promise Land made waves in recent months with singles like “X-Press,” “Rebound” and “Scratchin” (w/ Daddy’s Groove) taking over clubs, festivals and radio frequencies all across the globe. “Whoomp” looks to be headed for similar success, with radio support from Blasterjaxx, Kryder, Oliver Heldens and more to this point.

The past Promise Land singles mentioned above took on a more aggressive sound, but “Whoomp” brings plentiful quantities of groove. A lively piano melody pairs up with a chopped up vocal and groovy drums to create a very energetic breakdown. Risers and even more percussion build up the atmosphere as an even groovier sound is clearly on the horizon. A thick serving of bass lines up perfectly with short synth stabs to a dynamic sound that will drive dancefloors crazy. Promise Land really have done it again as they conclude their massive 2016 on a high note.
