R3hab is one of the biggest names in the EDM industry and for good reason. He’s been churning out a steady stream of releases for years now that have impressed everyone from casual listeners to hardcore EDM junkies. You can add “Icarus” to that list of hit tracks as this upbeat and soulful tune has got all the energy and pristine production you’d expect from an experienced producer in addition to a fantastic melody. This is one has a pop sound to it that I could see making it work on the regular radio stations, but it’s really the excellent vocals that make this one of the hottest tracks I’ve heard in a while.
