Martin Garrix & Mesto – WIEE [STMPD RCRDS]

In anticipation of dance music’s biggest week of the year – ADE – our favorite young Dutch superstar, Martin Garrix, has promised seven new tracks in seven days.

The first one, appropriately titled “WIEE”, is a collaboration with fellow dutchman Mesto.  It’s a playful, upbeat track that will no doubt have crowds jumping all the way from LA to Amsterdam. An instrumental track, “WIEE” features no vocals other than the brief “weee” just before the drop, which leads into massive, glitchy synths that mesh smoothly with a classic Garrix pluck melody.

Rumors that Garrix will be DJ Mag’s new #1 DJ in the world have been spreading for weeks now. As ADE draws ever closer and the new Martin Garrix releases come raining down, we have no reason to believe that that won’t be the case.
