Louis the Child & Evalyn – Fire [Ultra]

The young duo from Chi-Town, Louis the Child, has given us another gem with “Fire,” this time featuring Venice, CA-based vocalist Evalyn.

The follow-up single to their latest collaboration with Icona Pop “Weekend,” “Fire,” is a vigorous track. A somewhat irregular drum pattern coupled with Evalyn‘s energetic vocals keep the verses dynamic and interesting. The build culminates with an isolated Evalyn lyric and moves into a colorful drop similar to “Weekend,” featuring a lively top melody cushioned by some signature Louis the Child future bass synths.

Freddy & Robby seem to have been getting along nicely with our favorite saxophone-wielding team that is Big Gigantic, as they brought them out as a surprise guest during their Lollapalooza set, and opened for the duo at Red Rocks just a few weeks ago.
