Ushuaïa & Pacha Raided by Spanish Authorities
Ibiza nightlife hotspots Ushuaïa and Pacha were raided by Spanish authorities this morning, per reports from Spanish newspaper El Mundo.
The raids were targeting potential tax fraud, as many other venues on the island have been raided over the summer for the same reason. The Ushuaïa raid happened at 6:30 a.m., with Pacha‘s coming at 8 a.m. The most high-profile case this summer came when the owner of Amnesia Ibiza was arrested after a 17-hour raid and a seizure of €2 million. Pacha was recently put on sale for €500 million by its owners.
So far, there’s no information on whether or not arrests were made or money was seized from either Ushuaïa and Pacha. We will update this article as information comes in.
