With the release of his Something Real album in the rear-view mirror, Fedde Le Grand revisits one of its singles, “Down On Me”.

That tune proved to be one of the most popular tracks on the album, and warranted an extended mix. This track topped the DMC Buzz Chart recently, which certainly showcases its potential . Plus, you can sing along using the lyric video that Fedde Le Grand just dropped.

Right from the bat, you can tell that “Down On Me” is meant for the big time. The entrancing breakdown features a mellow synth and a slick vocoder-enhanced vocal on top. Fedde Le Grand makes the track break out from nowhere, with a looped set of synth stabs triggering an intense buildup. Once that concludes, big synths and an awesome bassline take over to create a melodic vibe with the perfect amount of edge. Simply put, Fedde Le Grand has done it again.
