MEG \ NERAK – Get Down [Axtone Records]

With a little bit of different branding, MEG \ NERAK return to Axtone Records with a new single titled “Get Down”.

Of course, the duo is no stranger to the label. Previous tracks like “Ethnos” and “Everybody” with Shapov did incredibly well after getting love from Axwell. But, Axwell is not the only big name supporting “Get Down”. Dada Life, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano and plenty more have gotten in on the fun, as well.

“Get Down” goes a bit deeper than your traditional Axtone track. But, the track rocks an incredible amount of variety within its five minutes. The track revolves around an energetic vocal, which serves as the driving force throughout. The first drop brings a darker sound, powered by a thick bassline and elaborate percussion. A progressive influence makes its way in by the second drop, with a melodic top synth bringing it to an impressive conclusion.
