Saturday Spotlight 011: 3LAU – 3LAU HAUS 46

Welcome to Saturday Spotlight 011! I had this written up for last week but couldn’t complete it so we bring it a week later! We have 3LAU with his 3LAU HAUS 46 mix. This is great mix with some nice hard songs and a few changes here and there.

3LAU hits it off with his smooth remix of “Cry For You”. This is a nice mood setter that has fast but easy drums, and catchy bass, which 3LAU is know for. The melodic synth in this remix really draws you in. Then we have an interesting mashup, an ID original mix is put together with a higher vocal of “This Is What You Came For“. They fit very well together and the mood of the music continues from the first song. If you are a 3LAU fan, you know “Is It Love“, well next is the Riggi & Piros remix to that song and it is very energetic with these bright synths. The melody flies around creating a nice atmosphere.

Later on we have a remix to “Beating Of My Heart“, which has great energy and awesome synths. But then 3LAU takes the mix down an new path with “HSTFU” which has this hard drop with a heavy beat and sick bass. He keeps it going with a mashup of Bobby Shmurda and Kill FM, keeping up with the hard drop. Then we take it even further with a remix to “Propaganda” which is pretty insane. 3LAU is really nailing this mix so far.

Keeping up with this crazy mood is the Random remix to “Friction“, which is nice and down there. Then the Zomboy remix to “Follow” is up, and that is a nice dirty remix with great bass and a sick beat. Then “Buck” by Ookay comes on and just goes everywhere. The pump up from this song is so great, it’s fast, heavy, and intense. 3LAU then drops the “Pokemon Theme“. That’s right, he plays it and drops into the Getter remix of “Pump This“.

Helping to finish the mix is “Slam Dunk“, which really unleashes the energy that has been building this entire mix. It has those hype vocals and a sick bass. To end this mix of bass and energy is “Omega (Love From Me)“. This is a real turn, as the bass is strong, but the drop has these gliding synths playing over it. It uses high vocal cuts as a melody and is a very radical change from the rest of the mix. However it is a great way to bring us down from the rush of music we just heard.

This is a sick mix from 3LAU and I would definitely say my favorite song is “Bad Bitch” by Botnek. This song is so dirty and the drop is insane, which is how it is with Botnek. Make sure you check out 3LAU HAUS 46 below!
