Kaaze – ShowKaaze EP [Revealed Recordings]
Revealed Recordings is using their spotlight to highlight the skills of Kaaze. The Swede joined forces with the label for the four-track ShowKaaze EP.
Of course, fans of the label should require no introduction to Kaaze. Solo tracks like “Tell Me” and “Milk Man,” as well as “Maji” with twoloud are just a few feathers in his cap. Kaaze also took over the second half of yesterday’s Hardwell On Air episode to deliver an energetic guestmix that featured all four EP tracks.
Let’s start from No. 1, with “Freedom”. Kaaze welcomes in Stu Gabriel to provide a topline on this track. It uses the power of his vocals and a stunning guitar-based breakdown to create an awesome atmosphere. Kaaze crafts an amazing melody and finishes it off with slick synths.
Next up is “Sin City”. This track goes on the instrumental route. Kaaze beautifully utilizes longer notes, and sliding synths to bring an even more energetic sound to the forefront. Daft Punk-influenced guitars and vocal samples also give this track a unique flair.
“Wild Summer” is a track that sounds exactly like it should. It brings incredible amounts of summer vibes through its dynamic vocal riff and unbelievably smooth melody. This tune also rocks a ton of interesting nuances, so it certainly warrants a deeper listen than your usual progressive house track.
Rounding out the EP is the ShowKaaze outro. It brings a mysterious but grand orchestral sound, chockfull of heavy drums.
All of these songs are worth spinning in your party playlist or DJ set, so be sure to grab them today.
