TWIIG – About U [Mainstage Music]

Mainstage Music has discovered the next big duo in TWIIG. They make another splash on that label with “About U”.

TWIIG are no strangers to the spotlight that the label brings. Massive releases like “Hero” and “We Are” made them into a mainstay on the imprint. W&W officially introduced the track to the world with massive live-plays, during both EDC Las Vegas and Tomorrowland.

The best part about TWIIG is that their music transcends the line between electro house and progressive house. “About U” provides the raw power of electro with a side of progressive flair. A vocal over a mellow synth combination dominates the breakdown, but soon builds up an epic, full-bodied melody. Growling synths slowly make their way onto the scene as the buildup starts. Intense drums join the vocal to build the track up. The drop is harder than one would expect, coming from all angles with grinding electro synths. The bassline shows no mercy either, and helps bring the whole sound together. TWIIG dominates yet again on “About U”.
