Saturday Spotlight 009: Arty – Together FM 032
After a week off, we are back! Welcome to Saturday Spotlight 009! This week we have Arty and his Together FM.
Arty kicks it off with Ray Volpe‘s “With Me“. This song has nice synths and a sturdy beat to start. Then it jumps right into the bass and the dub, utilizing a rolled synth as its melody and well cut vocals on top. But the bass never slows down in this track. He changes it up after with “Gyal” by Aazar. This song uses more octave vocals, a chime melody, and bouncy bass. Setting a different feel from the previous song. He then speeds it up with “Threads” by Ricky Mears. This song takes the mix in a more progressive direction, with powerful synths mashing together to form a fuller sound. It also has an energetic beat under the music, give this song a strong foundation.
A little later, “Affection” by Castelle comes in, which has a sick pattern and synth, it changes up the feel of the mix and is one to just chill to. Then Arty drops “Into The Fire“, which has that fast beat and epic choral vocals, creating a realm mood. Arty is really giving us a mixed collection of songs. He throws in the 3LAU remix to “Creation” by Seven Lions. This track unleashes with a strong bass, an intense beat, and these crazy synths that run wild. Then he takes it deeper with “Set It Off” by Laxo. This has that hard hitting beat and bass, but uses some nice higher sounds on top, adding flavor to the song. He mashes the vocals from “Alone” by Marshmello in which is a very nice fit. When “Boss” comes on, the colors go flying as sound goes everywhere.
Helping to close the mix down is “Ryat” by ATTLAS. After a few intense songs, this has a nice, relaxing feel to it, with soft synths and piano. The beat fits the music well, and the bass is sturdy but soothing. “Do It Right” by Rainer + Grimm tops it all off. This song has strong, present piano stabs and chords, reassuring vocals, and a catchy bass. This song brings the mood of this great mix all back together for an nice ending.
I would say my favorite song of the mix is “Our Journey” by Crystal Skies. The vocals are tall and beautiful, and the music builds up very well. And the drop is just epic, with exploding synths laying down the law and these crunchy bass interjections. Arty threw a ton of different music into this mix, which isn’t something you see often. And on top of that, it all fit together so well, so that’s why Together FM 032 gets our attention. Check out the mix below and make sure you come back next week for our Saturday Spotlight mix!
