Axwell & Shapov – Belong [Axtone Records]

The long wait is finally over: Axwell and Shapov finally release “Belong”.

The wait comes with great reward, too. The original mix and Axwell & Years remode both are both out now. This track first emerged back in September 2014, and is one of many tracks that fans have been clamoring for this year. The Axwell & Years remode first debuted at Ultra Korea this year.

The real difference between the original and the Axwell & Years remode is the drops. The breakdowns showcase extreme emotion through vocals and instrumental. Axwell and Shapov did an amazing job balancing the power of the vocals with that of the instrumental. The buildups are where the differences begin. The original drop is a little heavier, relying on a staccato synth lead. The Axwell & Years drop brings in a whole new melody, and is a bit lighter. Regardless of which one you like better, Axwell and Shapov crafted an anthem in “Belong”.
