Tritonal X Cuebrick – Iceland (Viking Clap) [Enhanced Music]
Today Tritonal and Cuebrick released their “Iceland (Viking Clap)” song from Enhanced Music! This song was recently played by many at Tomorrowland including Armin van Buuren and W&W. This is a truly epic song for a variety of reasons.
The song begins with a faded intro that uses a slowed hat. Then the first strike of thunder is felt. You can hear the Viking cry combine with the bass and the drum to make a stunning sound. A faint high-hat holds the beat in the background as the drums come on for another bang. This pattern of chant and drum steadily increases, slowly building a huge amount of hype that will grab the attention of any crowd. As the chanting ends, the synths step in for their turn in the song. There is no waiting, and immediately you can hear the sound of both artists fly. Vocal melodies in between the music as the song builds. As the drop hits one more Viking cry is let out before the song unleashes its full energy. The beat is strong, the synths are hard and the vibe is so great.
Who would have thought that you could take the feel of a tribal battlecry and fuse it into an EDM song. This is definitely an awesome song made by Tritonal and Cuebrick so be sure to check it out! And also see what it looked like at Tomorrowland below!
