Maddix – Dirty Bassline [Revealed Recordings]
Maddix is one of the best kept secrets in the music industry. His talent, however, is no secret. Just listen to “Dirty Bassline”.
The Dutchman returns to Revealed Recordings for another massive single. His name should be in Revealed fans’ recent memory, seeing as he just released “Voltage” with Jayden Jaxx. “Dirty Bassline” held a spot on the Revealed Vol. 7 compilation, where it was mashed up with Galantis‘s “No Money”.
The title should be a hint about what’s important on this song. Of course, the bassline is the main feature. But, there is also much more to look out for. The main feature of the breakdown is a deeply-pitched vocal. That’s where “Dirty Bassline” gets its name. Maddix then chops the vocal up and adds some percussion to add some more life to the break. He also uses that as an opportunity to bring the song into its buildup. One more dose of vocals triggers the drop. The bassline is indeed dirty, with a booming sound and slick electro-styled topline. Maddix has a banger to be proud of here.
