Tritonal ft. Angel Taylor – Getaway (Remixes) [Enhanced Recordings]
Following the release of “Getaway“, Tritonal and Enhanced unveil an awesome remix package for the song. This package features remixes from Gareth Emery & Ashley Wallbridge, KOVEN., Axis, Jengi Beats, and Matt Fax.
To start off we have the remix by Gareth Emery & Ashley Wallbridge. Entering into the song we have some low bass and nice piano, where both stabs and notes come into play. The beat is soft, and the vocals of Angel Taylor come in. Then the song picks up, the beat gets stronger, and the synth has a really nice sound. It grows and grows until the drop, then gets unleashed as the music in the background fills the environment, and the mood soars. This song is electrifying, and utilizes a synth with quick notes to create that feeling.
The KOVEN. remix immediately has a difference. It is much faster, and uses fast piano to create the hype. But when the beat comes in, it is at a slow pace, giving contrast to the song. When the drop hits, the beat is what takes this song. This combines its heavy beat, with the soft but quick piano, which makes a very powerful feeling, but also very relaxing. Though the vocals are faster, it doesn’t cause the remix to stray to far from the feeling of the original song, which I personally think is a good thing for “Getaway“.
In the Axis remix, the song starts off very gently. The piano is soft, and there is a high melody above it leading the song. Before the drop, the feel of the song is definitely very spacious, which differentiates it from the others. But the drop catches us by surprise, as new synths and beats come in, continuing to carry the song. This song has a very strong synth to it, and having that character definitely helped make this remix great.
Matt Fax starts the remix off with the music very well blended together. Though you can distinguish the bass and piano, what is really noticeable is how well they flow together. When the song starts to build, even the beat stays well mixed with the music. The bass however plays a major role in this one. When the drop hits, that bass really grows and you can feel it carrying the rest of the music. However, it doesn’t leave the rest of the instruments, it stays right there with them, maintaining that feeling of the music being held together well. That gives this entire song its strength and makes this an admirable remix.
Jengi Beats really takes this song to a different level. It has a bunch of interesting and weird sounds in it. It is also slower then the other songs. After the vocals come in, a heavy bass joins. The drop cuts us off guard, utilizing vocal cuts and a very bouncy bass and beat. It is definitely an energetic song, but it keeps a mellow layer to it. During the verse, the beat is light, but when the drop hits, it gets heavy and deep, which really changes the game of the song.
What I like about all of these remixes, is that they capture the essence of Tritonal and “Getaway“, but then the other artists find a unique way to add their sound in and the resulting remixes are just amazing. This is definitely one of the better remix packages as a whole that I have heard. Check out the “Getaway“ Remixes today!
