Cheat Codes & Dante Klein – Let Me Hold You (Turn Me On) [Spinnin’ Records]
Spinnin’ Records does a fantastic job of bringing back old vocals, and “Let Me Hold You (Turn Me On)” is no exception.
The vocal was first popular in 2004 in a song by Kevin Lyttle. Now, it has been repurposed by Cheat Codes and Dante Klein for a big release on Spinnin’. Cheat Codes first introduced the track back in April on Slam!FM. “Let Me Hold You (Turn Me On)” also saw support from R3hab, Oliver Heldens and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike.
Cheat Codes and Dante Klein are known for creating fantastic summer tunes. It’s definitely safe to say that they have done it again. The breakdown is mellow instrumentally, but strong with vocals. The vocalist has a strong sound, and the vocals are better than ever. This one is a bit slower than the typical Cheat Codes and Dante Klein track, but the energy is undeniable. Tropical house vibes dominate the drop, with a relaxed and driving bassline pulling it all together. These guys did an awesome job re-purposing a great vocal, and have a fantastic summer song in “Let Me Hold You (Turn Me On)”.
