A collaboration between MOTi and Alpharock seems smart when you compare their sounds. They apparently agreed, spawning the track “Legends”.
This tune is out as a free download through the Spinnin’ Premium system. Both guys are veterans in the Spinnin’ Records system, and are familiar names to fans. MOTi debuted “Legends” earlier this year when he took to the decks on Slam!FM Bij Igmar. Since then, W&W, Tiësto and R3hab included it in their radioshows.
Both MOTi and Alpharock are known for their tendencies to work with strong melodies. That is definitely the case on “Legends”. This whole tune operates off of a fantastic melody crafted by the two Dutchmen. On top of the energetic synths, MOTi and Alpharock also use intricately cut vocal pieces to aid the melody. Those vocals are also a main piece in the buildup, becoming the focus of an ever-shortening loop to increase the hype. “Legends” drops with a razor sharp top synth that is almost brass-like, and joins a formidable bassline. This tune comes at you from all angles, and is another success for MOTi and Alpharock.
