Dillon Francis feat. Snappy Jit – Candy [Sony Music]
You can always rely on Dillon Francis for a good laugh, and even better music. With his Snapchat-famous piñata “Gerald” in tow, the American delivers a massive single titled “Candy”.
Seeing another track from him is incredible, since he just released his official remix for Calvin Harris and Rihanna‘s “This Is What You Came For” a week ago. “Candy” features Snappy Jit, and some production assistance from GTA. Fans have probably heard this one before in sets by both Dillon Francis and GTA at EDC New York and Las Vegas, respectively.
The festival vibe on this track is palpable right from the start. The intention for this song was to create a banger, and that they have done. The brass on the intro demonstrates the sheer power that “Candy” has before anything else gets going. The producers manipulated Snappy Jit‘s vocals so that they are very high-pitched. We get into the drop rather quickly, and the producers pulled out all the stops. Massive trap drums take over, with booming brass leads showing strength as well. Quite frankly, a sound this big just means that Dillon Francis, GTA and Snappy Jit lived up to their respective reputations. Expect to hear “Candy” everywhere in the coming weeks.
