Cash Cash Releases ‘Blood, Sweat & 3 Years’ Album [Big Beat Records]
It’s finally here! The trio of Sam, Jean Paul, and Alex brings us Blood, Sweat & 3 Years under Big Beat Records. This album is packed with new and exciting music, as well as some of the fantastic songs we’ve come to know and love from Cash Cash. Starting off the album is “How to Love” featuring Sofia Reyes. Everyone who has been awaiting this album knows “How to Love“. Its great melody, comfortable yet energizing drop, along lovely vocals from Sophia make this a great start to the album. Second is “Broken Drum” with Fitz of Ftiz & The Tantrums. This song has a soft intro, and strong vocals from Fitz. It has a strong beat, but the great part of the song is the saxophone melody of the drop, it changes the game of the album. Up next is the high energy song we’ve all been teased about: “Millionaire” with Nelly and Digital Farm Animals. This song has many different feels, but the constant feeling is the need to move and groove to the catchy voice of Nelly, and that melody and bass that force you to dance with everything you have. Even the chorus vocals have a special ring to them and are the perfect build up to the drop.
After this we have “Hero” with Christina Perri. This song is just magic. Christina sounds amazing, which should come as no surprise. This song sticks out because of the contrast between calm and energetic that is so well placed. The drop is lovely and peaceful, and something anyone can enjoy. Cash Cash add their collab “Devil” with Busta Rhymes, B.o.B, and Neon Hitch to the album. This has a good beat and interesting verses from the two rappers. After is their song “Aftershock“. This one isn’t new to us, but it has great vocals from Jacquie Lee and a nice feel to it. “The Gun” is up next including Trinidad James, Dev, and Chrish. This is an interesting song, creating different moods within it. This is definitely an interesting song from Cash Cash, and we get to see how their sound changes when collaborating with the other artists.
Little Daylight joins the game with “Turn“. The singer has a soft voice, which is a great fit for the simple beat and music during the verse. Cash Cash then takes it up a notch in the drop, adding some higher synths to create the energy. Added to the album is “Escarole“, which is a harder song with some nice synth added in. Then Cash Cash brings back “Lightning” which any fan of the trio should know. “Arrows in the Dark” is up, featuring Anjulie. This is a great deep hitter. The vocals and attitude of the singer gives way for this harder feel of the song. Added to the final drop is a light melody on top of the low beat. Night Terros of 1927 comes to collab, and the result is “We Will Love“. The vocals here are strong and emotional, accompanied by smooth music and beat. Then the drop lets it all go and the energy flows so well.
Up next is “Bada Boom“. This is a good club banger, with some great bass and energy. The vocals definitely get the hype going. Then the trio brings back their amazing hit “Take Me Home“, if you don’t know this song then you need to hear it, because simply put; it’s amazing. Their final new track is “Sweat” with Jenna Andrews. This one starts off with a very strong beat. Jenna’s voice is definitely the perfect match for this song. The drop hits and the beat is unleashed, resulting in a chill song that combines beauty and a heavier vibe. To top the album off is “Surrender” which is another amazing song.
Cash Cash has given a solid album here, showing off their not only their creativity, but also their ability to work with many different artists, and the result is quite amazing. Awesome job JP, Alex, and Sam! Get yourself the Blood, Sweat & 3 Years album now and check it out below!
