Feenixpawl and APEK team up resulting with “Quicksand” from Eclypse Records. This is a great song with a lot of energy and emotion flowing through it the entire time. The song starts off with a nice synth melody. It has a unique feel and really creates the mood of the song. The piano and vocals join it for the first verse. Karra comes in with a beautiful voice and lovely lyrics that really implant the feelings in this song. When the drop hits, all that emotion is released with the energy of the music, making such a powerful drop. Not only does it have a great melody, but it flows so well, giving it great structure. The beat accompanies it very well. What is really nice about this song is when the music pulls back, and all that is heard is piano and vocals. It gives the song character to have so many different levels to it, yet still combine to keep the song string. You can really hear and feel the combined genius of APEK and Feenixpawl in this song, and it leaves you wanting more.
