Saturday Spotlight 003: Merk & Kremont – Timeline 051
We’re back with another Saturday Spotlight! Check out our previous couple spotlights, and keep coming back weekly for more! This week we have Merk & Kremont with their mix on Timeline Radio.
In Timeline 051, Merk & Kremont give us a nice mix, with some deep grooves, some of their old favorites, and their new favorites. They start off with their brand new song “Don’t Need No Money” with vocalist Steffen Morrison. After, they turn up with “Hold Up“, “Old School“, and “Dark River“. Now off to a great start, they move deeper and bring out “Okay” and “You’ll See Me“, a new one by MOGUAI. Another remix to Rihanna appears, which again, creates a great vibe while still keeping the mood of the song.
The duo then takes it back with “Frum Frum” by Fare Soldi, which has a strong melody to it. With these few from the past, they really bring in a great dance groove to the mix. Then they bring it to the future to end their mix. They start with a great remix to “Is It Love“. This song has great vibe and guitar accompanying it. Topping off their mix, we have “Let It Go” by Delayers ft. Rhett Fischer. This is a solid mix by Merk & Kremont, bringing a variety of songs that yet, all center around the same feel. I love the songs put into this mix and I think the mood transitions well.
I would have to say my favorite song of the mix would be “Let It Go“, because as an ending to a mix, it has energy, but it is a relaxed kind of energy. This was a great mix to end the week.
