Paris Blohm feat. Blondfire – Something About You (Conro Ultra Miami 2016 Remix) [Revealed Recordings]

Conro debuted on Revealed Recordings last July, and has made a grand return to the label.

After working with Dyro to bring “Bittersweet,” the Canadian is on remix duty for Paris Blohm. “Something About You” was originally released in April, and the remix was used in the 2016 Ultra Music Festival Miami aftermovie. Conro has previously shown off his affinity for other genres, and takes “Something About You” in a different direction.

This remix capitalizes on the emotions of the vocals, while transforming the vibe of the instrumental. Conro goes with a faster tempo, and a much more mellow feel from the bare bones instrumental. Next, the track explodes to life after a vinyl brake effect. The chorus takes over, next to creatively chopped vocal stabs. Conro quickly works the remix into the buildup, before taking it into an awesome trap drop. Chill synths and a zestful bassline bring this remix together fantastically.
