Saturday Spotlight 002: APEK & Guest RBYN – APEK RADIO 020
Welcome to our second week of Saturday Spotlight! Check back every week to hear our mix of the week!
This week we have APEK with his guest RBYN giving a great mix to us. This marks the 20th episode of APEK RADIO mixes. APEK starts us off and he kicks it off with his new collab with Shanahan, “Broken Souls.” The mood immediately changes, and we get to bash our heads for a bit as the music gets harder. We’ve got some now songs to show from Tiësto & Ummet Ozcan, Kill the Buzz, and more. The mix gets more energetic when the Lindequist remix of “Chemicals” come on. APEK also drops Cash Cash’s new song, “Millionaire“, which includes Digital Farm Animals and Nelly. RBYN comes in for his guest mix and starts off with “In The Dark.” “Once Upon A Time”, and new one by Kill The Buzz and Harrison. He also plays an edit of “AMEN“, his collab with Cuebrick. RBYN gives us an nice energetic mix, ending the show with “Daylight“.
This mix featured some great new songs, and was well put together and planned out. Hopefully we will hear more from APEK and RBYN soon. I’d have to say my favorite song on this mix, putting “Millionaire” and “Broken Souls” aside which already deserve much love, would have to be the Feenixpawl Remix of “Kiss It Better” by Rihanna. It was a remix that I wasn’t expecting and I like how far it was able to come from the original song, but also give off the songs feel. Hope you enjoy this mix as much as I do.
