With the launch of his NoFace Records label firmly in the rear-view mirror, veteran DJ/producer Max Vangeli has been on an absolute tear with his productions. Starting with “Shine,” moving to “Blow This Club,” and most recently, “Stay Out,” he has demonstrated that his style is to keep listeners guessing with what sound he will come with next. He sticks with progressive house as brings about a mesmerizing free download tune titled “Get High”. The breakdown has a very chill vibe to it from the start, as it is just a simple synth that is soon joined by a high-pitched vocal. Max Vangeli then adds to “Get High” with a strong synth to provide a melody that gives the breakdown a bit more life. “Get High” has a very low-key buildup to it, and by that, I mean it really has no buildup at all. On some tracks, that transition would be jarring without some build to it, but Max Vangeli is able to finesse that cut with ease.
