Salvatore – Documentary 2016
2016 has been an absolutely fantastic year so far for Salvatore. The Stockholm native has seen an explosion in his fame, as well as an incredible diversification of his production style. He has created everything from house to rap, and he seems quite comfortable outside his comfort zone. Earlier in 2016, he collaborated with Enya and Alex Aris to release “Dive,” a hip-hop based production that really introduced Salvatore to a new sphere in the music industry. Today, this track has just under 500,000 streams in just one month. He also teamed up with Refune boss Sebastian Ingrosso and Liohn for “Flags!,” which has received over 315,000 plays so far on SoundCloud. The label helped put together a quick video to give a little background on the man behind the successes that have come out of his studio thus far, and we’ve included a few of his recent records for your listening pleasure as well.
In the documentary, he discusses his experiences as a Bosnian refugee coming to Sweden, why he works so well with Sebastian Ingrosso, and how Garmiani got him to start DJing. In only six minutes, you learn a lot about story that is not very well known in the music industry.
