Dannic – Blaze [June 6 – Revealed Recordings]
Dannic has proven time and again that he will deliver big tracks at just about any given point in the year. Every track raises the bar set by the previous one, but the Dutchman has no problems consistently exceeding expectations. Even as he adds the role of label head at Fonk Recordings to his list of responsibilities, he returns home to Revealed Recordings to tease another dazzling single. “Blaze” is a highly sought after ID track from Miami this year, which has just now made it out into the public eye after seeing support on the pool party circuit at MMW. Of course, we’ve heard from Dannic fairly recently, as he teamed up with Russian Amersy on “Lights Out”. “Blaze” will drop on June 6.
Honestly, Dannic has been using the same formula on his songs for years now, but it never gets old. There is always the perfect portion of groove, and an intense focus on creating the perfect melody. “Blaze” does both perfectly, which explains why everyone has been clamoring for this record. Dannic starts working in the melody within a few seconds of the breakdown’s beginning, and that melody is the pulse of the track until the end. It takes on a few different forms, growing from a simple pluck sound into stronger saw synths. “Blaze” features a long buildup, and features the melody on full blast. Dannic brings an incredible drop to pull it all together, as he smashes a thick and groovy bassline together with that very same melody for an epic denouement.
This big track from Dannic will drop via Revealed Recordings on June 6.
