Skitzofrenix – Together
For as long as I can remember, the name Skitzofrenix has always been associated with high caliber releases. He has maintained an impressive résumé, boasting releases on imprints such as Revealed Recordings and Dim Mak Records. A producer always capable of switching up his sound, Skitzofrenix now comes with a future house-influenced song by the name of “Together”. This tune really has no weak points to it, and that is certainly no accident. The breakdowns are dotted with an energetic melody, and powerful vocals that shine beautifully when mixed together. Skitzofrenix is also able to infuse more energy into this segment by adding a little bit of percussion that a crowd can easily interact with. One of the most unique aspects of “Together” is the lack of a build up. Skitzofrenix ditches the looped drums, and instead introduces the drop synth with no bass kick. The vocals and a tiny drum fill do the perfect job of uniting breakdown and drop, as a lively bassline joins the mix to really make “Together” a fantastic and cohesive record.
