Deorro vs. Riggi & Piros – Tick Tock
Two of the most underrated producers in the big-room industry are Deorro and Riggi & Piros. Their sounds are highly compatible when you listen to their respective work, so a collaboration between them is a no-brainer. “Tick Tock” borrows sounds influenced from all over the electro spectrum, and that is the track’s biggest strength. The drop kicks off with a high-pitched synth that joins up with a pounding, big-room bassline. “Tick Tock” goes in a different direction after the first few bars, dropping the big-room template in favor of a Melbourne bounce style bassline. Those two styles alternate throughout, which keeps the sound fresh throughout. The breakdown has a bit of an orchestral feel to it, but not in the way one would normally expect. It uses typical electro synths, but just feels like it was composed in an orchestral manner. I give Deorro and Riggi & Piros major credit for that unique style. The breakdown gives way to another drop that artfully goes back and forth between big room and Melbourne bounce. This is a massive free download, so grab “Tick Tock” via the link below!
