The Chainsmokers ft. Daya – Don’t Let Me Down (Ephwurd Remix)

To be quite honest I was a little skeptical of Ephwurd when I first heard their music. They seemed to come out of nowhere and a lot of times artists like that fade out as quickly as they rose to prominence. I mean think about the Hitimpulse remix of Ed Sheeran’s cover for “I’m In Love With The Coco. It has over 55 million plays on Soundcloud, but have you heard of another track from them? Ephwurd has showed some staying power though with “Duckface” and “Just Us” both doing very well and now they add this outstanding remix of “Don’t Let Me Down” to that list. I thought they were going for a future house sound when I first listened to it, but they stuck with their OG sound and dropped the future bass right on cue. That’s not to say the consistency is a bad thing, it works well on this track and like I said this is a top notch remix.
