DubVision feat. Denny White – Million Miles [April 15 – Kid Coconut]
DubVision is a duo that has always been focused around melodic progressive house. They departed from that style for a bit to experiment with other sounds, such as the heavier “Sweet Harmony” that they released at the beginning of the year via Tiësto‘s Musical Freedom label. They have now returned to a label where they released alongside the boss, in the form of Michael Brun‘s Kid Coconut. These guys teamed up in February 2015 to release “Sun In Your Eyes,” with vocalist Tom Cane. DubVision now bring on vocalist Denny White for “Million Miles,” which will drop April 15 via Kid Coconut.
The breakdown kicks off with a focus on Denny White‘s vocals, which sit atop a repeating set of chords. White’s vocals have incredible power to them, and as he hits the bridge, the vocal layering is absolutely superb. Things really get going once the vocals finish, as DubVision brings a beautiful set of chords in from the background. The drop hits, and it hits with a mesmerizing layering of sounds to it. Plenty of light synths unite with an energetic bassline to make “Million Miles” This is some real DubVision sound, and it has been greatly missed.
“Million Miles” will drop on April 15, so remember to grab this anthem when that day comes!
