Tujamo – Drop That Low (When I Dip) [Spinnin’ Records]
Tujamo definitely has a knack for taking some old-school classics and turning them around into new big-room hits. He did it with Danny Avila on “Cream,” and has done it again with “Drop That Low”. Like the title says, this next record samples the 2010 Bingo Players track “When I Dip” throughout the breakdown. Those chords really never get old, so their modern infusion back into the big-room scene is a welcome sound. Tujamo changes up the vocal sample as the drop comes closer, opting to leave the vocal from “When I Dip” out in favor of a new option. That vocal is where “Drop That Low” gains its name, and triggers the onset of a powerful drop. The Tujamo sound is alive and well on this one, as powerful and brass-like synths complement a bassline that packs a punch. As the weather heats up, and the heat of festival season approaches, be sure to snag this brand-new banger from Tujamo.
