Ultra Music Festival Confirms Final Lineup, Set Times
Editor’s Note: This post is regarding the final lineup for the 2016 festival, not the “final Ultra”. As far as we know, Ultra Music Festival will be back in Miami in 2017.
The start of the 2016 festival season is just a week away, and the excitement that comes around every year is at an all-time high. Ultra Music Festival in Miami has confirmed its final lineup as well as the set times for a jam-packed 18th edition of the world famous festival.
The Phase Three lineup added 70 more DJ’s to the lineup, which makes this festival easily one of the biggest in the world. Fans now can use the set times to plan their schedule throughout the three-day event. It’s worth noting the huge names that close the mainstage each night, with Martin Garrix on Friday, Hardwell on Saturday, and a massive festival-closing set coming from Pendulum AND Knife Party on Sunday.
Big names, of course, will be in charge of their own stages at the festival. Carl Cox continues his reign as the king of deep house with the Carl Cox & Friends stage on both Friday and Saturday. That stage will convert into Armin van Buuren‘s A State of Trance stage on Sunday. That stage will feature an 80 minute set from deadmau5, which will surely be an interesting performance.
The Ultra Worldwide and UMF Radio stages are back this year, with the former representing Ultra Korea and Ultra Japan, and the latter hosting stages for Revealed Recordings and OWSLA Records. Last, but not least, the Oasis and Stage 7 stages round out the lineup with a host of talent from around the world.
The bad news? General admission tickets are sold out. An extremely limited number of VIP tickets are currently on sale priced at $1,249.95 (€1.120,38).
If you can’t make it to Miami, you’re still in luck. Ultra Music Festival will continue their tradition of live streaming the festival via YouTube. As well, they have partnered with video streaming platform BE-AT.TV to live stream all three days of the Arcadia Spectacular-produced Resistance stage.
