Protocol Recordings pres. Miami 2016 – Mixed by Florian Picasso & Blinders
Protocol Recordings is now one of many labels that has embarked on the yearly tradition of preparing an EP for Miami that is full of exclusive content. This year, the EP was constructed and mixed by Florian Picasso and Blinders, and features 20 tracks as well as a continuous mix.
Each track on the EP is either exclusive, or an upcoming Protocol release, save for a few tracks from Volt & State and “Harmony” by Nicky Romero and StadiumX. That means 18 exclusives, and there is nothing better than that. Tracks like “Want It Back” from Florian Picasso and “Lift” from Deniz Koyu & Don Palm got reworks, with the latter becoming a vocal track titled “Aviators”. The label welcomed back names like Corey James, Arno Cost, and Tom Tyger to bring energetic tunes, while also introducing newcomers like Teamworx, Ovion, and Exit Friendzone to showcase their talents.
