Corey James & Will K – Another Storm (Third Party Unlocked Mix) [Release Records]

Two guys typically known for their groove sound have come out with something a little different. Corey James and Will K are formidable when they work together, and get an even bigger lift with the editing assistance of Third Party. The result is called “Another Storm,” and is another impressive feather in the cap of each producer. “Another Storm” is all about uplifting progressive vibes, and there are plenty available. The drops have that typical pulsating bassline that great progressive house tracks contain, and combines that sound with a carefully constructed topline melody. The middle breakdown takes the energy down a notch, with a perfectly blended vocal. One of the coolest effects that Corey James, Will K, and Third Party is something they managed to work into the breakdown. They looped the vocals in a fascinating manner, and slowly faded the melody in to create a very interesting clash of sounds. Corey James, Will K, and Third Party have crafted a melodic hit to start the spring, so expect to hear this at clubs and festivals as the weather heats up.
