Hardwell feat. Jake Reese – Run Wild [Revealed Recordings]
After teaming up for “Mad World,” a single that lasted 17 days atop the Beatport Progressive House chart, Hardwell and Jake Reese are at it again. Their next single together is titled “Run Wild,” and is yet another impressive record. Where “Mad World” went progressive, “Run Wild” goes with a big-room sound that is still just as effective. The main point of emphasis in the breakdown is definitely the vocals from Jake Reese. There is little to no interference whatsoever from the instrumental, Allowing the Dutchman’s talent to shine through loud and clear. Once he hits the first chorus, Hardwell takes over the sound with a beautiful set of big-room chords that show off his ability to produce on both sides of the progressive/electro fence. The track drops with a ferocious bassline and razor-sharp saw synths. It is a bit of a throwback to the 2013 big-room craze, but is perfectly executed nonetheless. With powerful melodies, and excellent vocals, Hardwell and Jake Reese have shown why they are pretty much unstoppable with “Run Wild”.
