Mark Sixma & Futuristic Polar Bears feat. Amba Shepherd – Cupids Casualty [Armada Music]

Mark Sixma came through on Armada Captivating in 2012 to release “Cupids Casualty,” and now that track has come out of the archives for a 2016 refresh. This time around, British trio Futuristic Polar Bears has been enlisted to help out with the rework alongside original vocalist Amba Shepherd. “Cupids Casualty” makes the leap from trance to electro house, but still keeps elements from the fantastic original record. There is a brand-new energy to the track now, as Amba Shepherd‘s consistently beautiful vocal melds perfectly alongside a bouncy top synth crafted by Mark Sixma and Futuristic Polar Bears. The breakdown artfully places more vocals together with a piano background that then moves seamlessly back into another buildup sequence. Another drop hits with a dynamic bassline that features pitched kicks, and gives “Cupids Casualty” an unforgettable vigor to it.
