Dyro – Set Me Free EP [Wolv Records]
Dyro definitely isn’t afraid to experiment with his sound and his Set Me Free EP definitely shows that. There are 4 songs on the EP and every one has a different sound and style to it. I think this EP was to show everybody exactly how much Dyro is capable of.
Like I said before, each track is different in sound and style. The first track is a collaboration with Loopers and titled “Set Me Free.” It’s a typical heavy electro track with some bass house influences. The second song, titled “Surrenda,” is a cross between trap and dubstep. It has the synths like a dubstep track, but the drum patterns of a trap song. The third track, “Predator,” is a super heavy hip hop track featuring rapper Dope D.O.D. The bass is incredibly distorted and the synths add a dark dirty vibe to the track. The last song, “Artifact” is another incredibly heavy electro house banger. This is what I would expect from Dyro, especially lately, but it’s amazing nonetheless.
Every song is super heavy and bass filled, what Dyro does so well. I was genuinely surprised at the first two songs, even though I had already heard different styles from Dyro simply because they were done so well. It’s difficult to crossover genres so well, but these are amazing. Take a listen to the EP below and make sure you get yourself a copy. Enjoy!
