The Chainsmokers – NYC (Halogen Remix) [FREE DOWNLOAD]

Halogen has been killing the game with their progressive house remixes and now they’ve put their spin on the new release from The Chainsmokers tune called “NYC”. Their sound is upbeat and relaxing, with a smoothness to it that lends to easy listening. I could see people getting pumped up to this track or just listening to it on a drive home; it’s very versatile. I’m very impressed with Halogen so far and I think they have the potential to really make waves, their sound reminds me a bit of the Lost Kings thought not quite as pop music inspired. Progressive house can tend to be a little generic, but Halogen is doing their best to stand out from the crowd and this track is a perfect example of them nailing that.
