Julian Jordan and Mike Hawkins Announce Split from Spinnin’ Records
Since Martin Garrix has left Spinnin’ Records to do his own thing, the label has now lost two more artists. Julian Jordan and Mike Hawkins both announced today that they have ended their deals with Spinnin’ Records and MusicAllStars management.
Julian Jordan, who has released tunes like “Slenderman” and “Blinded By The Light” via the label, said that he and his team were unable to come to a new deal together with Spinnin’ Records. He said he now has “more freedom than before,” and will be releasing his next single via Revealed Recordings.

Mike Hawkins and Spinnin’ Records decided to mutually part ways, saying, “we are perhaps not the right match for each other in terms of style and vision”. He released tracks like “Hot Steppa” and “Soldiers” during his tenure on the label, while simultaneously leading the Megaton Records imprint.

These terminations look like they were more friendly than Martin Garrix‘s, but nonetheless, will still hurt the Spinnin’ Records label. We look forward to seeing the direction both Julian Jordan and Mike Hawkins take as they continue on independently.
