Nights Like This – Back To You

Nights Like This, a new duo in progressive house music, has been making some noise with their last few releases and now they have another one dropping entitled “Back To You”. If I’m correct this is the first original they’ve done with vocals and while this can be a really challenging thing to master this is a very solid first attempt. Getting the vocals to blend seamlessly with the instrumental portions of the track is not easy and while it isn’t perfect here I think the overall sound comes together nicely. It could use some polishing, but hey practice makes perfect.

I might have chosen to go with a female singer here because I feel like in general they convey emotion a little better, but I like that Nights Like This has experimented with using vocals in their originals so early on in their career. In my experience it takes producers a while to do this because of the difficulty associated with doing it, so courageous move. I was reminded of Pierce Fulton when hearing this one and his music is insanely good, so Nights Like This you guys are on the right track.
