AlunaGeorge ft. Popcaan – I’m In Control

Known best for their international hit “You Know You Like It” with DJ Snake AlunaGeorge quickly rocketed to the top of the charts, but since then has been fairly quiet. Well they’re back now with a new track entitled “I’m In Control” and it would seem that the wait was well worth it. The vocals are very well done and blend seamlessly with the unqiue combination of reggae and electronic elements. I was honestly expecting something very different from AlunaGeorge considering the nature of their older music, but I’m digging the switch in sound. Popcaan was a nice addition and gives the song an authetic feel, Aluna Francis’ voice isn’t exactly one that conjures up a reggae vibe. Another hit from the duo, but what else would you expect from them?
