Joakim Molitor feat. Lena Leon – Hero [Eclypse Records]

A name that is primed for a huge year in 2016 is definitely that of Sweden native, Joakim Molitor. He closed last year by collaborating with Corey James on a track called “Morning Sun,” and now opens up the new year with “Hero”. This track features vocalist Lena Leon, and also finds a familiar home on Eclypse Records. “Hero” is a completely different animal, and this animal is an absolute beast. This track hits hard from the beginning, with the first drop rocking a razor-sharp electro lead synth. Lena Leon‘s beautiful vocals highlight the breakdown, which is primarily constructed with a light guitar and other airy synth choices. Joakim Molitor masterfully juxtaposes these two sounds in the breakdown, as he combines progressive and electro stylings with ease. With drops so powerful, and vocals so catchy, Joakim Molitor and Lena Leon have created an underrated hit with “Hero”.
