Jay Cosmic & Delora – Have It All [Spinnin’ Records]

I can safely file the sound of this track under the “unexpected” category. In the past, Jay Cosmic‘s musical specialty has been the production of hardstyle, but 2016 will begin on a different note for the Manchester, UK native. “Have It All” is a mellowed out house tune that really shows how artists are trying to move outside their comfort zone. One of the most incredible parts of this track is definitely the vocal work from Delora. She hits some high notes with impressive ease, but still does well with the other sections. The drop is a slick fusion of natural piano and typical house synth work, but the synth actually might be Delora‘s vocals cut up. Regardless, Jay Cosmic did a fantastic job in jumping across genre lines to still produce a powerful tune in “Have It All”. Whether or not Jay Cosmic sticks with hardstyle or moves over to house in 2016 is yet to be seen, but “Have It All” certainly shows off his production talent.
