Will K – Marsch [January 11 – Oxygen Recordings]
Australian Will K managed to have a wildly successful year in 2015. His popularity surged worldwide on account of his huge collaborations like “Tenpaku” with Corey James, and solid solo tunes like “Here Comes The Sun”. The beginning of 2016 brings what might just be his biggest track yet, and it comes via Spinnin’ Records‘ Oxygen sublabel. The tune is called “Marsch,” and was debuted by Dannic back in October. After a little bit more radio play, “Marsch” is set to be released on Oxygen Recordings on January 11.
“Marsch” is a track that’s all about the percussion, and Will K does it perfectly. There really isn’t much synth work happening during the beginning of the track, as the primary focus lies in the bassline and drums. That bassline has a pulsating feel to it, and is mixed masterfully. The breakdown in between the drops has a heavy, cinematic feel to it, as the rather minimalistic scheme makes for a very intense vibe. Will K then builds it back up for yet another bass heavy drop that will rock any dancefloor with seismic proportions.
“Marsch” will be released via Oxygen Recordings on January 11.
