Thomas Newson has done a great amount of growing up in 2015. His sound has matured incredibly, and is no longer as one-dimensional as it previously was. In this holiday season, the Dutchman decided to give away a brand-new single titled “Wildfire” as a free download. This tune packs all of the power of a typical big-room track, but does so in a unique way. There is a very distinct vibe to the drop, and Thomas Newson is able to weave in unique sounds that usually don’t make appearances in a dance music song. He is also able to work in a really well-crafted melody into the breakdown, combining influences from the existing drops but also bringing in new sounds. This is a very high quality track, and the free download makes “Wildfire” even better. If Thomas Newson can keep this up, 2016 will bring him even more success.
