Hardwell Announces New Charity for Underprivileged Children in Open Letter
It’s clear that Hardwell is using his stardom for good.
The Dutch DJ/producer has already shown his humanity by performing for free at the D.Y. Patil Stadium in Mumbai for an event titled: “The World’s Biggest Guest List”. The event was created in conjunction with the Guinness Book of World Records, and is built off of more than 100,000 fans that have registered to be on Hardwell‘s own personal guest list.
Today, he announced via an open letter on his Facebook page that the event and his United We Are organization had already tripled their goal of assisting 3,000 children. Hardwell wrote to spread the word of his objective, and to ask for his fans and followers to pledge to support his initiative. The proceeds will go towards the Magic Bus program, which seeks to “steer children towards a better life and better opportunities in the journey from childhood to livelihood.”
Sounds pretty good, right? Enjoy a great set from Hardwell, and help underprivileged children at the same time.
