Nicky Romero Cites Anxiety As Reason For Lack of Releases
Dutch DJ/producer and Protocol Recordings label boss Nicky Romero announced that he had been unable to release as much music as a result of a struggle with anxiety.
In a paragraph posted on his Facebook account, Romero discussed how the long hours of touring and constant production had worn him down, and how he was able to re-find his focus as a producer. He also reaffirmed that he will get back to producing full-time now that he has conquered what was bothering him, and says he “feels great,” and is “ready for 2016”.
Nicky Romero also made sure to pass on advice to a fan, as he replied to a comment with a resource to help fight anxiety.
Sometimes, it’s really hard to remember the human aspect that each DJ/producer maintains. We see them as being constantly full of energy and creativity, but that can be hard to maintain when you have a hectic touring schedule and multiple gigs per day.
With all of this behind him, Nicky Romero seems poised to storm back with a vengeance in 2016.
A personal message for everyone!
