Swanky Tunes & Going Deeper – Far From Home (Armada Music)

Swanky Tunes is a very well respected trio in the electronic dance music scene and it’s easy to see why the Russian producers have such a good reputation when you listen to releases like “Far From Home”. The new track combines fantastic vocals with a beautiful melody and a punchy house bass line that reminds me a bit of Oliver Heldens. It’s not something I’ve personally heard from them before, but I really like the new direction that they went with this one and the trend toward a deeper house sound should attract some new fans to Swanky Tunes.

Perhaps the reason for the deeper house sound is the fact that the duo Going Deeper is on the track as well. While not quite as established as Swanky Tunes they have some good music of their own and do a good job of blending elements of progressive house with deep house to create their own sound. The combination of their sound with Swanky Tunes is a winner though and I’d be more than happy to see these five in the studio again.
