Dannic Announces Fonk Recordings Label, ADE Demo Drop
As was hinted in the third episode of Dannic‘s “Dear Life” documentary, the Dutch dance music star has officially founded his own label.
The label is aptly named for one of his tracks that embodies his sound perfectly, and thus, Fonk Recordings was born. The label gives Dannic an outlet for his own tunes, but also gives him the opportunity to expand his role in selecting tracks for release outside of his three Dannic Selection EPs for Revealed Recordings.
“I really like to help younger producers with both their mastering, and offering more general production advice to allow them to finish their tracks. Throughout the years I’ve been working with a few talents and now I’m in the position to push them and give them a platform.” – Dannic
Dannic announced that the label will be getting started with a demo drop in Amsterdam on two days during Amsterdam Dance Event. Between 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Thursday, October 15 and 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Friday, October 16, there will be a car wrapped in the Fonk Recordings set up outside of various ADE events, with Dannic inside listening to demos and giving feedback.
Expect the first official Fonk Recordings towards the end of November!
