Thomas Gold & Deniz Koyu – Never Alone [October 12 – Protocol Recordings]
Nicky Romero and his Protocol Recordings team decided it was about time for a rebrand, and they chose a great tune to do it for. One man who is a rookie and one a sophomore on the label team up as well-known veterans in the form of Thomas Gold and Deniz Koyu. These guys linked up to create an absolutely blissful progressive house tune by the name of “Never Alone”. This track has been floating around the Internet for some time now, and has taken on a few different iterations in that timeframe. Its final home will be on Protocol Recordings, and will be released on October 12.
The first version of this tune included a completely different vocal scheme from when the track was originally premiered way back in 2013, as those vocals have jumped ship to a brand-new original from Adrian Lux. The sounds in the breakdown are very mellow because the main chord progression is handled by a female vocal that is dripping in vocoder effects. As she progresses through her chorus, the lead synth slowly develops in the background. That sound then takes over the main soundscape of the tune, and explodes to life with an absolutely unreal bassline. Both Thomas Gold and Deniz Koyu have outdone themselves with “Never Alone,” and have an unforgettable hit.
“Never Alone” drops on October 12, so be sure to grab a copy then!
